In year 1981, I'm just started my primary school year One. What a big news of the world on that time was a big war in Palestine. 17 September 1981, Shatila … a place in Palestine was heavily rain with bullets and bombs. Thousands of innocent people…men, women and children were killed in very uncivilised manner by a state named Israel. The sentiment of Shatila, so quick landed in Malaysia. I’m still remembering the newspapers and Malaysia TV keep on aired news and lot of campaigns took place in TV to safe Palestine. A song composed by Zubir Ali (Malaysian prominent composer) creates big impact to children like me. When recently Gaza was brutally attacked by Isreal, that song appeared in my mind… The song ‘Balada Seorang Gadis Kecil’ really touches my heart. After three decades, Shatila history goes to Gaza. I’m calling every of you who believe in humankind to support for free Palestine and stop Israel from brutally attacking Gaza. May ALLAH (God) helps us to correct our mistake and arrogant.
